Valencia adds versatility with ABA League MVP Luka Bozic

Valencia brought an all-round offensive threat with the addition of forward Luka Bozic who signed a two-year deal, the club announced on Wednesday. Bozic (2.00 meters, 28 years old) arrives from KK Zadar of his native Croatia where he spent the last two seasons, both of which he finished as the MVP of the ABA League.
Last season, Bozic averaged 19.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.3 assists, including a pair of triple-doubles. A season earlier his numbers were 21.7 points, 9.6 rebounds and 6.3 assists. He also helped the team win the a pair of Croatian championships, and a 2024 Croatian League title.
Bozic returns to the BKT EuroCup, where he appeared in nine games with Buducnost VOLI Podgorica in the 2019-20 season, but he totaled only 20 points and 12 rebounds playing just over 12 minutes per game.
Bozic played in youth ranks with Pula 1981 and KK Bjelovar, his hometown club, before moving to KK Zagreb and in 2017 to Zadar, for his first stint there. After a year with Buducnost, he spent a season with Siroki in Bosnia and Herzegovina before re-joining Zadar in 2022.
Bozic has been a member of the Croatian national team in the past, and has won a bronze medal at the U18 European Championships in 2014, and silver medal at the U18 World Championships in 2015.
