Olympiacos extends veteran swingman Shaquielle McKissic

Olympiacos Piraeus and swingman Shaquielle McKissic have decided to stay together for one more season, the club announced on Wednesday. McKissic (1.96 meters, 34 years old) has spent six seasons with Olympiacos, turning into one of the cornerstones of a team that has reached four consecutive EuroLeague Final Fours.
Last season, McKissic came off the bench in all 38 of his EuroLeague appearances, posting 7.6 points and 2.1 rebounds as the Reds had the best regular season record, but were stopped in the Final Four semifinals. In Greek League action, McKissic average 7.1 points and 1.2 steals in helping the team capture the championship.
The veteran swingman has played 184 career games in an Olympiacos uniform, all but 22 in a role off the bench, averaging 8.4 points, 1.9 rebound s and 1.6 assists. McKissic has become the longest-tenured American player in club history.
He started his professional basketball career with Victoria Libertas Pesaro of Italy, and also played for Changwon LG Sakers of South Korea, Usak Sportif, Besiktas Istanbul and Gaziantep Basketbol of Turkey, Gran Canaria of Spain, and Avtodor Saratov of Russia before joining Olympiacos in February 2020.
