Olympiacos Piraeus
Olympiacos Piraeus has been one of the most successful clubs of the 21st century, with 10 Final Four appearances, six trips to the championship game and a pair of EuroLeague crowns. Olympiacos had back-to-back runner-up EuroLeague finishes in 1994 and 1995, but in 1997 it beat FC Barcelona 73-58 in Rome to secure its first EuroLeague title. After a few quiet years, the Reds finally got back to the EuroLeague Final Four in 2009, but lost in the semifinals to archrival Panathinaikos. In 2010, Olympiacos made the EuroLeague Championship Game in Paris, only for Barcelona to walk away with the crown. The 2012 EuroLeague Championship Game saw Olympiacos rally from a 19-point deficit to edge CSKA Moscow, 61-62, on a famous last-second shot by Georgios Printezis in Istanbul. One year later, Vassilis Spanoulis earned EuroLeague MVP and Final Four MVP honors in London as the Reds overcame CSKA and Real Madrid to defend their title. Olympiacos reached the final in both 2015 and 2017, but lost to Real Madrid and Fenerbahce Istanbul, respectively. Georgios Bartzokas returned to Olympiacos in 2020 and has guided the Greek club to four straight Final Four appearances for the first time ever. After winning its 15th Greek League crown in 2025, Olympiacos will be ready to fight for that elusive fourth EuroLeague title in the 2025-26 season.
