The power forward returns to Turkiye after a season in the EuroLeague with Monaco
Besiktas brings big man Vitto Brown aboard

Besiktas Gain Istanbul added another weapon to its frontcourt with the signing of Vitto Brown.
Brown (2.03 meters, 29 years old) made his EuroLeague debut last season with AS Monaco. He averaged 4.4 points and 2.5 rebounds in 23 EuroLeague appearances – including 11 as a starter – in helping the club reach the Final Four. His numbers jumped to 8.1 points and 2.8 boards in the French League.
The power forward returns to Turkiye after spending two seasons with Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir, which he led to the Turkish League semifinals two seasons ago. He was worth 13.4 points on 44.3% three-point shooting and 4.6 rebounds in 36 Turkish League games that season with Izmir.
Brown was a member of a powerful University of Wisconsin team that reached the 2015 NCAA Tournament championship game. He was a teammate there of future EuroLeague and EuroCup players Nigel Hayes-Davis, Sam Dekker and Frank Kaminsky. He began his professional career in the G League with the Wisconsin Herd and later played for the San Diego Clippers, Maine Red Claws and Erie BayHawks before coming to Europe in 2020.
His first season in Europe was in France with Le Mans Sarthe Basket. Brown then played for Real Betis Baloncesto in Spain before joining Karsiyaka in 2022.
