Turk Telekom head coach Henrik Rodl:
"I really have to give it to our guys. They really came and played very hard for 40 minutes. We stuck to our game plan and a lot of times, it was trying to get Geyik the ball and see what he could do with that, and he had a great game today. But everybody else was playing very hard, too, so it is credit to the whole team. We fought until the end - sometimes the ball bounces this way, sometimes the ball bounced the other ways. I think they had some open looks but we made the big points, so I am very happy for our group. Geyik is a very good player against the defense Lietkabelis was playing and he did a very good job today in a very long game for him because he was on the court more than 30 minutes. He stayed with it and everybody did, it is a great win for us. We want to try to win every game, that is the mindset right now. We have some chances in the EuroCup and will try to use them.
"It is a big victory for us. Not many wins can win here, this is very special. We were outmanned. We had an eight-player rotation but were extremely focused. I am very proud of my guys and how they competed. They played this game and stuck with the game plan, shared the ball with each other and communicated defensively. We had foul problems in the first half but got through that, so this is a special day for our group, I am very proud of them. And it is special to win here because Nenad Canak is doing a great job here, and it is tough to win here."

Lietkabelis Panevezys head coach Nenad Canak:
"Congratulations to Turk Telekom. We didn't play smart, especially in the fourth quarter. We just got 2-3 fouls and missed too many easy shots. I don't know why, but we have too many missed layups. Now, we need to keep playing together. We still have two games left in the EuroCup and in these two games, we have to give everything to reach our goal. They played without their two main big guys, so [Geyik] didn't have any subs and played without any pressure. Congratulations to him, also. I hope our fans continue supporting us until the end of the season. It is the decisive part of the season and we need their support."
Turk Telekom center Samet Geyik:
"First of all, we came here without three of our teammates. We had eight, nine players in our rotation, but gave an unbelievable fight, each player. At the end of the game we were a little bit tired but again, we fought for every second and I think we deserved to win the game. They also played very good, but missed a shot and we won, this is basketball. We lost some games before we came here and today, we had to cut this situation. We started like this and fought and it was a good win for us."
