Germani Brescia head coach Alessandro Magro:
"It was a serious game. Ljubljana came here to play a serious game and they never gave up, even after a pretty tough first half for them. We were able to share the ball and play very effective defense in the first half. But then we had to understand very quickly that the game lasts for 40 minutes. Every game and every training session is a chance to improve, while we committed the same mistakes we made in the league game in Pesaro. It’s disappointing to make the same mistakes two games in a row. We allowed them to come back and they deserved it, so congratulations to them for staying in the game. Ferrell and Adams are tough to guard but at the end of the day every EuroCup win counts."
Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana head coach Miro Alilovic:
"We showed two totally different faces. Like I said to the guys at halftime, everything was wrong in the first half. We were too soft and too slow as well as late with every reaction. We showed character and a totally different mindset in the second half and in the end, we missed a chance [to win the game]. However, playing well for 20 minutes is not enough to win. This is a tough competition and we’ve struggled almost every game this season. We have to learn from this and set new goals for the upcoming seasons."
Germani Brescia forward Kenny Gabriel:
"It was the last EuroCup game at home so we wanted to get a win. We didn’t do enough defensively in the second half, we were up by 16 heading into the third quarter, but we got the win. Hopefully, we can just build on this, stay positive and keep going."
