Lietkabelis Panevezys has announced the arrival of Paulius Murauskas on a one-year loan from Zalgiris Kaunas. Murauskas (2.04 meters, 18 years old) averaged 18.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.8 blocks in four Adidas Next Generation Tournament matches for U18 Zalgiris Kaunas last season, while in the same campaign he also recorded averages of 8.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 26 Lithuanian League games during a loan spell at BC Nevezis.

Murauskas is one of the brightest young talents at Zalgiris, with which he made his first-team debut during the 2020-21 season, as he featured in three matches. He also played for Lithuania at the U16 European Championship in 2019. At Lietkabelis, Murauskas will get the chance to play in the 7DAYS EuroCup.
