Dolomiti Energia Trento has made forward Mattia Udom its first new recruit for the 2022-23 season. Udom (2.00 meters, 29 years old) signed a one-year deal with Trento with an option for a second. He arrives from Brindisi of the Italian League, where he played the last two seasons, during which he averaged 5.4 points and 4.5 rebounds in 68 games.

Udom grew up in the youth system of Mens Sana Siena and made his first-team and EuroCup debut in 2013. In the 2013-14 season, Udom played four games in the EuroCup Last 32 and started in one, scoring a total of 4 points in just over 22 minutes. After that, he spent several years with Agrigento of the Italian second division and then returned to Siena. He also played for Biella and Verona and been a member of the Italian national team.
