Aris Midea Thessaloniki bolstered its frontcourt by signing power forward Nate Laszewski to a one-year deal, the club announced Saturday.
Laszewski (2.08 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Happy Casa Brindisi, where he averaged 8.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 30 Italian League games last season, ranking second in three-point shooting (46.4% 3FG). He posted better numbers in the FIBA Europe Cup, averaging 10.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in 4 games. Brindisi was the first stop in his professional basketball career. Before that, Laszewski played for the University of Notre Dame for five seasons. He is expected to make his EuroCup debut with Aris next season.
