Cedevita Olimpia signs big man Will McNair to short-term deal

Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana announced on Sunday that it has signed big man Will McNair to a two-month contract. McNair (2.10 meters, 25 years old) has already joined the club and is expected to be in uniform on Wednesday when the team takes on U-BT Cluj-Napoca in Round 6 of the BKT EuroCup.
McNair has spent his entire professional career playing in the Turkish second division. He bgan the current season with Yalovaspor, where he posted 16.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in four appearances. Last season he was worth 15.3 points and 10.1 boards with Ormanspor. He recorded double-doubles in 15 of his 31 games with Ormanspor.
“I feel great,” McNair said after signing his contract. “I feel that this is a great opportunity to prove myself on a bigger stage. Honestly, I haven’t been following Cedevita Olimpija this season. Two weeks ago, however, I was watching EuroCup and noticed the team in one of the games. I watched the game and later the highlights. The fans can expect excitement and energy from me.”
A native of Philadelphia, McNair played five seasons of college basketball. He was with New Mexico State Aggies 2019 to 2022 before spending one season each with Mississippi State and Kansas State.
