Round 1: Aris Thessaloniki vs. Dreamland Gran Canaria
It will be quite a baptism of fire, returning to the competition with a home game against the reigning champion. Aris hosts Gran Canaria in what should be a very special game at Nick Galis Hall. Aris fans will surely be ready for their team's return to the EuroCup and a wild atmosphere can be expected after a seven-year absence from this competition. Sports-wise, it is the biggest test Aris can have right away. Win or lose, it will be too soon for consequences, but it is a stepping stone to know what to expect later on.
