"We are in an even better position now than before the game. It was a great game for us defensively today. Of course, the fact that [Kenny] Gabriel and [Amedeo] Della Valle didn't play helped us, but okay, I think that we deserved that win.
"It is a very important win for us because now, we are fighting for a better position before the playoffs. In the game, we played very solid defense. We controlled the rebounds and, in the end, I think we deserved that win and we will keep fighting in the EuroCup."

"We tried to compete against their physicality. We were not able to find good shots, and the good shots we generated, we missed them. So obviously, if you don't score, it is tough. There are a lot of things that we have to do better. We will watch the game and will be ready for the next one.
"For sure, we are disappointed because we knew the importance of the result of this game. We had the chance to gain some better positioning in the standings and we didn't. We knew that our weak point could be playing against their physical defense. They decided to have their regular edge defense, but also switching. In the first half especially, we moved the ball, in my opinion, not properly and too slow. Then we tried to do it better, we also generated some open shots that we missed. We had a very, very bad three-point percentage. To be honest, it was not an excellent game, a dirty game for both teams. We let them shoot 27 free throws, and I think this is a number that can determine the game. We were a bit nervous and we have to understand that I do my job with the referees and the players have to play the game, not to play and think about refereeing. We know, for sure, what we missed, and we are ready to come back immediately tomorrow. We have a very, very important [Italian League] game on Saturday, where I hope Amedeo Della Valle and Kenny Gabriel can help us. We are happy that we were able to give minutes to Troy Caupain, who is coming back in that game."
