"I really liked how we fought on the court and that's one of the keys [to the victory]. Whatever you do, whatever you have in your hands, you need to fight until the last second. My players really fought and they deserved to win. We made some really easy mistakes, but we are a new team – [we have] 12 new players together with a new coach – so it's going to happen in the beginning of the season. We just hope to get better every day, that's our motto."

"I don't think the fourth quarter was our problem, I think it was the first three and a half. We were very sloppy with the basketball. We turned the ball over way too many times, we didn't execute precisely at all, [and] we had problems on the defensive end, so we just stayed in the game by making outside shots. That's not how you win basketball games… at least that's not how we're going to win basketball games on a consistent basis, so just not good enough over the 40 minutes.
