Reyer signs Stefan Nikolic

Umana Reyer Venice announced on Thursday the signing of forward Stefan Nikolic to a multi-year agreement.
Nikolic (2.03 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Vanoli Cremona, where last season he averaged 9.3 points on 41.3% three-point shooting and 3.7 rebounds over 30 games. Born in Belgrade, Nikolic played in the youth system at Crvena Zvezda before moving to Italy at age 16. He played in the youth teams at Virtus Bologna and Stella Azzurra Roma and then for the senior teams with GeVi Napoli, Montegranaro, Apu Udine, Virtus Bologna and Cantu.
"I am honored to join Reyer, a historic club and a true Italian basketball giant. I arrive with great enthusiasm and with the desire to compete with high-level players and competitions," Nikolic said. "Venice is an ambitious club, which for years has been firmly at the top of national basketball, a sign of a winning mentality and a constant ability to renew itself. For me this represents an extra push to always give my best. From the first contacts I felt great trust and I immediately understood that this was the ideal situation for me. I really look forward to getting started."
