Uros Trifunovic returns to Turkiye with Turk Telekom

Turk Telekom Ankara added another weapon to its backcourt by signing Serbian sharpshooter Uros Trifunovic, the club announced. Trifunovic (1.98 meters, 24 years old) started the season with Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv, but made only one appearance with the club in the EuroLeague and was released on Saturday.
He returns to Turkiye after starring for Tofas Bursa last season. Trifunovic averaged 11.3 points on 40.7% three-point shooting and 2.2 rebounds over 32 Turkish League games with Bursa.
A product of Partizan Belgrade’s youth system, Trifunovic played two full EuroLeague seasons with the Serbian powerhouse from 2022 to 2024, gaining valuable experience at the highest level. He also took part in three EuroCup campaigns with Partizan in which he totaled 36 appearances in the competition. Trifunovic was just 18 years old when he debuted in the EuroCup.
