Barcelona’s Nico Laprovittola sidelined with a thigh injury

FC Barcelona came out victorious from Athens, beating Panathinaikos 96-103 with a help of Nico Laprovittola who had 15 points and 9 assists in 22:30 minutes on the floor. However, it came with a cost.
Veteran point guard felt discomfort in his leg during the game, and then came an announcement from the club on Saturday that Laprovittola will miss three weeks of action due to a thigh injury.
It is an unfortunate setback for a 35-year old guard who missed most of last season with an ACL tear.
This is eighth EuroLeague season for Laprovittola who has appeared in 187 games, all with Spanish clubs – Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
