Played college basketball at Iowa State University (2018–19).
Selected in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic with the 46th overall pick and immediately traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Made his professional debut with the Lakers during the 2019-20 season and played three seasons there.
Traded to the Utah Jazz in August 2022 and spent two season there.
Signed with the Chicago Bulls for the 2024-25 season.
Moved to Turkiye, signed with Fenerbahce Istanbul for the 2025-25 season.
