Two teams in search for a first win this season, Slask Wroclaw and Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, square off in the former’s Group B home opener on Tuesday. Even though both lost last week, there was more of a silver lining in Slask's performance.

Slask suffered a 92-81 loss in a tough road test at Gran Canaria, but led for majority of the game and into the fourth quarter. Lukasz Kolenda shined with 23 points, tied for the most in Round 1. Slask got solid all-round performances from Jeremiah Martin (15 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds) and Jakub Niziol (13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals), as well.

Meanwhile, Buducnost fell at home against Veolia Towers Hamburg 66-73. New head coach Vlada Jovanovic's men had a shaky offensive performance, scoring just 41 points in the final three quarters. Only Petar Popovic (13 points) and Aaron White (10) scored in double figures, and Buducnost will be looking at how to better manufacture points as soon as possible.
