Promitheas (2-1) comes off its first loss of the season, in overtime against Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, 95-89. Hamburg (2-1) edged Slask Wroclaw 87-83 in Round 3. Promitheas is 8-0 against German teams in European competitions and 6-0 in the 7DAYS EuroCup. This marks Hamburg's first visit to Greece, which makes the game even more interesting.

Promitheas relies on its uptempo offense to win the game. It leads the 2022-23 7DAYS EuroCup in scoring with 90.3 points per game and ranks third in three-point shooting percentage (42.3%). Joe Young (24.7 ppg.) leads the team in scoring, followed by Arnoldas Kulboka (13.3 ppg.) and Trevis Simpson (10.7 ppg.). Promitheas also averages 7.7 steals per game and putting pressure on Hamburg's guards Ziga Samar and Kendale McCullum may be a key to this game's outcome.
