The London Lions and Ciaran Sandy have agreed for another season together, the club announced Saturday. Sandy (2.04 meters, 25 years old) has spent the last two seasons with the club, and posted 4.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in the British League action last season.
A Londoner, Sandy joined the Lions in the summer of 2023 from Mercyhurst University in the United States. That season he made five brief appearances in the BKT EuroCup, totaling 2 points and 3 rebounds. That season, the team reached the EuroCup semifinals, and also won the British League championship.
