NINERS Chemnitz has added another key piece to its roster with the signing of Robbie Beran, the club announced on Saturday. The contract is for the 2025-26 season with an option for a second year.
Beran (2.04 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Belgian side Kortrijk Spurs, where he averaged 8.4 points on 40.7% three-point shooting, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in just under 20 minutes per game. At Chemnitz, Beran will be reunited with guard John Newman, who was his teammate last season at Kortrijk.
Known for his tough defensive and excellent outside shooting, Beran made his professional debut last season after playing college basketball at Northwestern and Virginia Tech.
“Robbie was part of very successful teams at Kortrijk as well as in his last two years of college and we hope that he will bring this winning mentality to us,” said head coach Rodrigo Pastore.
