The EuroLeague now has new single-season record holders for points, offensive rebounds and three-pointers made and attempted in a season
Maccabi, Fenerbahce rewrote the record books

Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv etched its name in the history books this season as an offensive power. The Israeli champs scored the most points ever in a single EuroLeague season with 3,511. They overtook Real Madrid (3,500), which grabbed the record last season.
This season saw four of the seven highest-scoring teams in league history with Real Madrid placing third (3,459), Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul fifth (3,449) and Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens seventh (3,383).
By average, Maccabi (87.78 ppg.) had the third-most points since the introduction of the round-robin format in 2016, though it was second for the season behind Real Madrid (88.69 ppg.). The record was set by CSKA Moscow in 2017-18 with 88.72 points per game.
Maccabi became the new record holder for offensive rebounds in a season, too, both accumulated and average. Coach Kattash’s men grabbed 523 offensive boards, which were 26 more than AS Monaco (497) collected when it set the record last season. The average of 13.1 eclipsed Anadolu Efes Istanbul’s 12.5 from 2016-17. Other teams had averaged more in shorter seasons, but only six times has a team averaged more than 12 offensive boards in a season since the round-robin format was adopted.

Fenerbahce set the standard for three-pointers
Fenerbahce shattered the EuroLeague record for most three-pointers in a season by more than 50! Coach Sarunas Jasikevicius’s men drained 470 triples, which blew past the previous mark of 418, which belonged to cross-town rival Anadolu Efes Istanbul since 2020-21. Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz also overtook Efes this season to move into second place on the all-time charts with 424. Real Madrid made 407 this season and is now in fourth place.

The record for most average three-pointers made now also belongs to Fenerbahce. No team had ever averaged 11 threes in a full season before Fenerbahce erupted for 11.46 this season. Khimki Moscow Region (11.14) and Efes (11.04) were on pace in the 2019-20 season, which was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic and records for the campaign were never ratified. As a result, the record entering this season was 10.79 by Baskonia last season.
Fenerbahce also tops the charts for most three-pointers attempted in a single season with 1,199. Real Madrid held the previous record with 1,096 and is now third. Baskonia moved into second with 1,143 this season. When it comes to average, Fenerbahce’s 29.24 is third-most behind Baskonia, which set the record last season with 29.76, and Baskonia of the current season with 29.31.
