Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse got out on the break and took good advantage of its second chances in downing Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana 75-88 to enter the playoffs on an upswing.
Bourg did not allow a single fast-break point for Cedevita and tallied 13 points of its own in getting easy points - even though Bourg committed more turnovers than Cedevita, 15 to 9.
Pierre Pelos came up with some big shots in transition in the fourth quarter for the winners in scoring 20 points.
The French side also was superbly efficient in scoring on extra opportunities. Cedevita again won the statistic - 13 offensive rebounds to 10 for Bourg - but Bourg turned its offensive rebounds into 22 second-chance points with Cedevita scoring just 10 such points. Kevin Kokila was big for the visitors with 4 offensive rebounds.
