Trento takes on DeVante' Jones at point guard

Dolomiti Energia Trento has made the signing of point guard DeVante' Jones its first addition ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Jones (1.86 meters, 27 years old) averaged 10.3 points, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals over 19:41 minutes in 20 EuroCup games last season to help Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana reach the quarterfinals. He had one of his best performances of the season with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals in the eighthfinals victory over Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul. Jones also helped Cedevita win the Slovenian League and Cup double.
After a college career that saw him play at Coastal Carolina College and the University of Michigan, Jones began his professional career in France. He played for Metropolitans 92, alongside Victor Wembanyama, during the 2022-23 season and suited up for Le Mans the next season. At Trento he will be reunited with Selom Mawugbe, who was his teammate two years ago at Le Mans.
