Turk Telekom Ankara added another piece to its backcourt with the signing of Ata Kahraman.
Kahraman (1.92 meters, 26 years old) has played in top Turkish League for each of the past four seasons, including the last two with ONVO Buyukcekmece. He averaged 4.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists over 21 games last season in nearly 19 minutes per night. Kahraman's best game of the season came against Turk Telekom when he poured in 17 points on 5-of-10 three-point shooting and 5 assists in a double overtime win on October.
Kahraman began his career with Bahcesehir College Istanbul and played for Bursaspor Durmazlar and Bornova Belediyesi in the second division before moving up to the top league with Besiktas Istanbul in 2021. He spent a season with Manisa BBSK before making the move to Buyukcekmece.
