For years, Louis Olinde was one of the most recognizable faces in German basketball – a homegrown forward whose mix of athleticism, versatility, and quiet intensity made him a steady presence in the German League and the EuroLeague. From Hamburg to Bamberg and finally to ALBA Berlin, Olinde built his career step by step, always within the familiar rhythm of German basketball. That rhythm changed this summer.

Louis Olinde finds growth beyond his comfort zone

For years, [Louis Olinde](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/louis-olinde/006919/) was one of the most recognizable faces in German basketball – a homegrown forward whose mix of athleticism, versatility, and quiet intensity made him a steady presence in the German League and the EuroLeague. From Hamburg to Bamberg and finally to ALBA Berlin, Olinde built his career step by step, always within the familiar rhythm of German basketball.

That rhythm changed this summer.

After five seasons with ALBA, Olinde decided it was time to test himself in a new country, a new league and a completely new environment. The 27-year-old signed with [BAXI Manresa](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/baxi-manresa/man/) in Spain and stepped into the demanding world of the Spanish League.

“I’d been in Germany my whole life,” Olinde said. “I loved my time in Berlin, but I felt like I was stagnating a bit. I’d had some tough seasons and injuries, and I just wanted something new – a real fresh start. I wanted to enjoy basketball again.”

That sense of renewal has defined Olinde’s first months in Spain. Manresa is a world away from Berlin – not just in climate, but in culture and pace. 

“It’s a small city, very relaxed,” he said with a laugh. “When I go out, it’s quiet. But that’s actually what I like about it. And it’s Spain – I’m sitting here, it’s 25 degrees in October. That never happens in Germany.”

But Olinde didn’t come to Catalonia for a holiday. He wanted to be tested anew. That meant leaving ALBA with a year left on his contract in a move agreed to by both sides. And Olinde was deliberate about his next move. 

“The goal was the EuroLeague,” he admitted. “That was the plan at first. It didn’t work out, but Spain’s ACB is probably the next-best league. Maybe even better than the EuroCup or Champions League because there are 10 or 12 teams that could compete at that level every year. So for me, it’s still a great opportunity to grow.”

Manresa poses another challenge Olinde is facing for the first time. He is no longer the “local player” or the familiar face on a German roster. He’s a foreign import, expected to deliver right away while adapting to a new language and lifestyle. 

“It’s a big change,” he said. “Not many people here speak English, so I’ve been taking Spanish lessons a few times a week. At the supermarket or pharmacy, you just have to speak Spanish. That’s how you learn – you’re forced to. It’s actually fun.”

He is also up to the challenge on the court. 

“I think people in Germany already know what I can do. Now it’s about showing I can perform in another league, with a different style, against different players. That’s my goal this season,” he said. 

The move has also rekindled his long-standing ambition to become a fixture with the German national team, a dream that has remained just out of reach through a mix of timing and circumstance. Olinde has been part of several training camps and FIBA windows but has yet to make a major tournament roster. Still, his motivation remains strong, especially after witnessing Germany’s historic rise to the top of international basketball.

“It’s inspiring, honestly. You see what those guys have done – winning the World Cup, then EuroBasket, competing for medals every summer. It’s huge for German basketball. And it’s motivating for players like me. I want to be part of that one day. Every time I get the call for a camp or a window, I enjoy it. Wearing that jersey means a lot.”

In the meantime, he is focused on taking the next steps with Manresa. And there is one special date already circled on his calendar – February 11, 2026. In the final round of the EuroCup Regular Season, Manresa will be traveling to Germany to face Veolia Towers Hamburg and Olinde will get a chance to face his former team in international competition. 

“That one will be special,” he said with a grin. “To play back home, see friends and family, and hopefully get the win. I already told my coach: if we win, I’m staying for dinner with my parents.”

Leaving Germany wasn’t easy, but it might be the best thing he’s ever done for his career. Sometimes you have to step away from what’s comfortable to grow. For Louis Olinde, Spain is the challenge he needed.

Aris Thessaloniki Betsson has confirmed the arrival of Alex Merkviladze. The length of his contract has not been disclosed.

Merkviladze (2.03 meters, 23 years old) joins Aris after spending the last four years with Loyola Marymount University, ranking sixth in program history for appearances made (119). Last season, as team captain, he averaged 10.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.

A EuroLeague champion with Real Madrid in the 2017-18 season, Randle has also lifted the G League title on two occasions, doing so with the Osceola Magic in 2020-21 and the Stockton Kings in 2024-25.

The 32-year-old has appeared in 119 games in the NBA, too, suiting up eight times for the Philadelphia 76ers and 18 times for the New York Knicks in 2016-17, then 49 times for the Washington Wizards in 2018-19, three times for the Golden State Warriors in 2019-20, and 41 times for the Orlando Magic in 2020-21.

Randle, a 1.88-meter guard, will make his debut in the British League this coming weekend. He could appear in his first-ever BKT EuroCup game next week as London looks to grab a second win in a row when it faces NINERS Chemnitz on the road.

[Fatts Russell](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/daron-russell/013943/) of U-BT Cluj-Napoca amassed a PIR of 30 in his team’s 94-93 road loss against Slask Wroclaw. Russell finished the game with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 15 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and 6 fouls drawn.

Carrington recorded 21 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists, 2 steals and 5 fouls drawn in Jerusalem’s 101-94 loss at BAXI Manresa. Djordjevic contributed 19 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 2 blocks and 2 fouls drawn as Slask beat Cluj.

Kevin Yebo of Chemnitz led all scorers in this round with 32 points. Fatts Russell of Cluj remains the competition's top scorer at 26.3 points per game.

Dusan Miletic, also of Cluj, pulled down 13 rebounds in Round 3. Zacharie Perrin of Veolia Towers Hamburg leads the 2025–26 EuroCup in rebounds, averaging 10.7 per game.

Russell dished out 15 assists against Slask – just one shy of tying the all-time BKT EuroCup record, shared by Omar Cook and J'Covan Brown with 16 apiece. Arnas Velicka of Neptunas Klaipeda ranks first overall with 8.7 assists per game.

Gabrielius Maldunas of Lietkabelis Panevezys and Mateusz Ponitka of Bahcesehir College Istanbul each collected four steals in Round 3. Dogus Ozdemitoglu leads the competition after three games with 3.3 steals per game.

Conor Morgan of Besiktas and Deane Williams of the London Lions each had three blocks in this round. Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu of Manresa is the competition's blocks leader at 1.7 per game.

Fatts Russell (21 points, 15 assists), Dusan Miletic (13 points, 13 rebounds), Nate Watson of Panionios Athens (10 points, 11 rebounds), Corey Davis of Chemnitz (22 points, 11 assists), Paulius Danusevicius of Lietkabelis (14 points, 10 rebounds), and Chris Horton of Umana Reyer Venice (11 points, 11 rebounds) all registered double-doubles in Round 3.

First victory brings good feeling, but second half shows London still has work to do

The [London Lions](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/london-lions/lli/) players and coaches didn’t describe their first BKT EuroCup victory of the season as a tale of two halves – but they likely know it was. A lackluster second-half showing left plenty of homework after an impressive opening 20 minutes.

London stormed out to a 39-point lead just three minutes into the second half, looking like world beaters in their Group B matchup. [Dolomiti Energia Trento](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/dolomiti-energia-trento/trn/), to its credit, fought back and made the final score more respectable at 87-71.

“It always feels good to get into the win column. We’ve been struggling in the EuroCup – two bad losses: one at home and one on the road. But we wanted to come out, show our fans what we really have, and get a win,” said [Tarik Phillip](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/tarik-phillip/009649/), who recorded 15 points and 7 assists as London improved to 1–2.

Phillip, 32, wasn’t surprised Trento fought back. “No team is going to be an easy out, as you can see. They wouldn’t lay down,” he said.

Desperate for a spark, Trento threw on a full-court press, forcing some turnovers and giving London’s new head coach Tautvydas Sabonis something to think about. The Italians cut the lead to nine with just over two minutes left, but London finally executed offensively to close the game.

“The first half, we were great. We defended, and we played the basketball that I and the coaching staff envisioned. The offense just builds off that,” said Sabonis. “In the second half, we knew they were going to come out harder, stronger, and more physical. We tried to explain that to the players – good teams are going to do that, and we have to be ready. I’m just happy we found a way to win. There’s a lot to learn from the second half.”

After two straight losses to open the EuroCup, Sabonis said the first-half performance was especially important, not just for the win but for showing the team can actually score. London shot 14-of-16 on two-pointers (87.5%) and 8-of-13 from deep (61.5%) for 55 first-half points.

Coming into the game, London had the worst offense in the EuroCup, ranked 20th in points (66.0 ppg), PIR (59.5), and two-point percentage (46.3%), as well as 19th in assists (14.0 apg) and 15th in three-point percentage (29.5%).

“The guys can believe now – believe in what we do and what the coaching staff envisions. Now they can feel it,” said Sabonis.

Veteran forward [Deane Williams](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/deane-williams/014098/) said he and his teammates took the biggest lesson from their own performance.

“The statement was most importantly for ourselves, just to prove to ourselves that we’re capable of playing great basketball,” said Williams, who contributed 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists off the bench. “We had a conversation at halftime: we have no excuses now. This is the level we’re going to play at every single game.”

No game is going to be easy – not even closing one out with a 39-point lead.

In a hard-fought battle, Besiktas showed its depth to come out on top.

Besiktas’s bench proved decisive in securing the win, with captain [Yigit Arslan](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/yigit-arslan/007914/) and [Berk Ugurlu](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/berk-ugurlu/003783/) stepping up when it mattered most.

Arslan carried the team with 19 points and a game-high 23 PIR, knocking down big threes at crucial moments to keep Besiktas ahead. Ugurlu added pace and creativity from the guard spot, recording 8 points and a EuroCup career-high 12 assists, driving the offense when the game was on the line.

Even with a strong home win, Besiktas’s defensive struggles showed throughout the night. Chemnitz repeatedly found easy scoring opportunities. Although the Turkish side built a 14-point lead in the second quarter, it couldn’t maintain it, heading into the final frame tied at 68–68.

Head coach Dusan Alimpijevic wasn’t satisfied with the overall performance, saying:

“The only good thing tonight is the win. This is the only thing that I’m satisfied \[with\]. I believe we prepared in the best possible way, but we didn’t follow our preparation, and we struggled a lot. We had problems – a lot – so when you receive almost 90 points, 88 at home, this is unacceptable for me. As I said, the only good thing is this win. That’s it.”

In the first half, Besiktas found its rhythm from beyond the arc, knocking down 7-of-13 three-point attempts to fuel an efficient offensive display.

However, the second half told a different story. Sticking with the same perimeter-oriented game plan, Besiktas connected on just one three-pointer in the third quarter, allowing Chemnitz to claw back into the game.

The hosts added only one more three in the fourth – made by Arslan – and finished the night shooting 37.5% from deep.

Despite the team’s ups and downs, Arslan shined individually, going 5 of 6 from long range to cap off a standout performance. Besiktas’s win was also supported by contributions inside from [Ante Zizic](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/ante-zizic/004554/), who added 17 points and 7 rebounds, and timely shots from [Jonah Mathews](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/jonah-mathews/011936/), who scored 18 points and made an impact despite fouling out in the fourth quarter.

Chemnitz made the most of Besiktas’s defensive lapses, especially in one-on-one situations. [Corey Davis Jr.](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/corey-davis-jr-/013890/) and [Kevin Yebo](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/kevin-yebo/013368/) repeatedly exploited mismatches through pick-and-roll actions, creating easy scoring opportunities for the German side.

Like Besiktas, Chemnitz also struggled from deep, but attacking the paint remained their biggest weapon. They chipped away at Besiktas’s 13-point advantage, heading into the fourth quarter with momentum after a string of fast-break layups.

Despite their short rotation, Chemnitz delivered a big game, led by Yebo, who posted 32 points and 7 rebounds while also hitting three triples to stretch the floor effectively.

However, it still wasn’t enough to stop Beşiktaş from closing out the win.

Alimpijevic’s squad will aim to build on their winning run as they face another German team, ratiopharm ulm, in Round 4.

When you are coaching the youngest team in the EuroCup, every game can be an adventure.

"I thought we played a great first half, controlled the tempo, shared the basketball – 14 assists, only 2 turnovers at halftime. Sometimes when those things happen, you settle and think you have the game," head coach Ty Harrelson said after the game.

"I tried to tried to warn the team that this (Lietkabelis rally) could happen, that we need to be ready for it. And it's a learning experience for us. I think at this level, uh, the game's not over until the last horn. And, uh, we definitely have some things to keep working on."

With the game on the line, Ulm relied on some of its more experienced players. With the score 86-90, Christian Sengfelder blocked a Jamel Morris shot and then Mark Smith buried a clutch three-pointer at the other end with 1:02 remaining.

Christopher Ledlum paced the winners with 26 points and 5 assists, Tobias Jensen tallied 13 points and 6 rebounds and Bryce Brown added 12 points for Ulm. Kristian Kullamae, Morris and Augustine Rubit each scored 18 and Paulius Danusevicius posted a double-double for Lietkabelis, which dropped to 1-2 after suffering its first home loss of the season.

Jensen was the first player Harrelson singled out after the game, saying of the 21-year-old "stability-wise, Tobias Jensen's plus 15, he stuffed the stat sheet," referring to the +/- rating, in which he led the team. Jensen also played a team-high 29:18 minutes, which means that in the 10:42 in which he rested, Lietkabelis outscored Ulm by 11.

"When we took him out of the game, the game went the other way, so I needed to keep him on the court. He's playing a lot of minutes. It's difficult for him," Harrelson explained, before mentioning two more youngsters.

"I thought our young guys came in and played really well in the first half. Mohamed Diakate gave us a couple really good minutes, and Alec Anigbata as well. So, that's always important for us."

Diakate contributed 5 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 6:46, while Anigbata added 4 points in 5 and a half minutes.

Though Ulm's mandate is to give young players a place to shine, the team would not have prevailed without the scoring of Ledlum, who himself is only 24 and playing in just his seconds professional season.

“It was a joint effort. I think everyone on the team, our whole team played really hard. Each team went on a run and I'm glad we were able to hold on and get the win," Ledlum said modestly after the game. "That (26 points) just goes to my teammates, you know, they were able to find me in good positions, and I couldn't have done it without them.

"I love the way we play. Everyone shares the ball and we have fun playing. That's the best part about it."

Of course winning is also fun and Ulm is doing enough of that to share first place in Group B with Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse. Coach Harrelson and his cast of rising stars will look to keep rolling when they host Besiktas GAIN Istanbul next week.

The Venetians dominated the first quarter, limiting Neptunas to just 10 points in the opening period. Neptunas struggled mightily on the offensive end, despite some solid play execution. Reyer hurt the visitors in transition at every opportunity, even though they couldn’t buy a basket from downtown. At the break, the hosts led 51-26.

Neptunas came out aggressively at the restart, led by [Zane Waterman](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/zane-waterman/014079/), but ultimately struggled to put a significant dent in the deficit. Though its offense slowed down, Reyer tightened its grip down the stretch, keeping its opponents at bay to secure the 20-point W.

The home team scored as a unit throughout, with 10 different players making their mark in the scoring column. [Chris Horton](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/chris-horton/011988/) played the starring role, recording an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double and finishing the game with a PIR of 22. Elsewhere, [Stefan Nikolic](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/stefan-nikolic/004723/), [Kyle Wiltjer](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/kyle-wiltjer/008052/), [Carl Wheatle](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/carl-wheatle/013305/) and [RJ Cole](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/rj-cole/013929/) also reached double figures in scoring.

Without a doubt, Reyer’s EuroCup campaign hasn’t started as planned, but Horton hopes this much-improved display can mark a turn in fortunes for his team.

“I feel good. It feels good to finally get a win in EuroCup. We’ve had a rough start, but that’s basketball,” Horton said. “I’m glad that we improved on the mistakes we made in the first two games and really happy we were able to get our first win out here, in front of our fans.

“Every win brings you together, you get better with every win and you learn more. This right here is just a stepping stone to where we want to go to. The most important thing is you get better every day, so hopefully we improve even more in the next game.”

Reyer head coach Neven Spahija shares a similarly optimistic outlook but still expects much more from is team, especially from beyond the arc, where Reyer hit just 17% of their shots.

“I think we did a really good job,” Spahija expressed. “We still have to shoot the ball better, because scoring this many points, 89 points without shooting well from outside is usually very difficult.”

Sometimes a win can release the pressure valve during a difficult period. Spahija sensed some frustration in the camp and hopes that they can use Wednesday night’s win as a springboard.

“We are practicing hard and doing well during the week. Lately we’ve felt a lot of pressure and we need such wins to approach our next Italian championship game and to play with more confidence, of course to a full gym!”

Neptunas fell to 0-3 with the defeat, but not for want of trying. Head coach Gediminas Petrauskas was quick to shoulder the blame for the loss, shifting the responsibility away from his players after the game.

 “It’s entirely my fault,” Petrauskas claimed. “I didn’t prepare the team the right way, with the right mentality.”

Coach Petrauskas's men have a chance to bounce back next week as they face Veolia Hamburg Towers on Tuesday, while Reyer will hope to build on Wednesday night's performance when it meets U-BT Cluj-Napoca in a week's time.

Slask Wroclaw showed some impressive resiliency in rallying from 16 points down to overcome the high-scoring U-BT Cluj-Napoca 94-93. The emotional roller-coaster at home may not have been pretty, but the only thing that matters is the W, according to head coach Ainars Bagatskis.

Slask grabbed its second victory in three games in Group A of the BKT EuroCup with a 94-93 thriller in front of the home fans at the Hala Orbita. Stefan Djordjevic paced four Slask players in double figures with 19 points to go with 8 rebounds and Noah Kirkwood totaled 15 points.

Slask managed to overcome another spectacular showing from Cluj’s Fatts Russell, who had 21 points, 7 rebounds and 15 assists. 

“For us this is really important that we showed our character. We have to keep this good mood and keep up the winning,” said Djordjevic, who came off the bench and scored 10 more points than he did in Slask’s first two games.

Slask finds itself in uncharted waters in the EuroCup with a 2-1 record. In its previous three seasons in the competitions, the Polish side managed a combined 6-47 record.

“We had good energy for sure, but the quality was not so good. But as so often in professional sports, the most important thing is to win. How you win is secondary,” said Coach Bagatskis.

Slask getting to 94 points was not expected as it averaged 78.5 points coming into the game. But the league’s number one rebounding team dominated the offensive glass with 15 offensive boards, leading to a 22-6 advantage in second-chance points. That came against a Cluj team that ranked 16th in opposing team’s offensive rebounds.

And Slask also reversed its usual offensive output, shooting 55.3 percent on two pointers and 32.1% on three-pointers. Bagatskis’s men had ranked last inside the arc at 44.2% and were second best from the outside at 41.3%.

Slask could not stop Cluj’s star Russell. The whirlwind creator came into the game averaging 29.0 points, but he ended up dishing out 11 assists in the first 20 minutes. That matched the best single-game performance in the EuroCup so far this season.

And Cluj built a 10-point lead in the opening frame. Slask fought back with strong will and intensity and actually led early in the second quarter.

Russell started picking up his scoring after the break and Cluj built a 16-point lead. Slask fought back into the game again. Trailing by 15 points, the hosts went on a 19-5 surge to pull within a single point in the late stage of the third quarter. Kirkwood opened the final stanza with the first 5 points and the home side was back ahead.

Slask got a major break 63 seconds into the fourth quarter when Russell was sent to the bench with his fourth foul. The Polish side showed its grit and determination in trading blow for blow with a series of seven straight lead changes.

The game was deadlocked 86-86 when Kadre Gray stepped up with back-to-back triples in an 8-0 spurt to lead 94-86. Issuf Sanon then missed a dunk attempt for the home side and it was indicative for the final 2 minutes as Slask failed to score the rest of the way.

Luckily, Cluj twice only split free throws and Trey Woodbury decided to go for a layup with 3.1 seconds left despite his team needing a three-pointer to tie the game.

Cluj could not finish the comeback and in the end, it was Slask celebrating. Regardless of how it won the game.

Alfonso Plummer drained 4 three-pointers in scoring a career-high 23 points in BAXI Manresa’s 101-94 victory over Hapoel Jerusalem for a 2-1 mark in Group A. 

Plummer provides spark as Manresa find energy without fans 

Alfonso Plummer showed last season that he can take over BKT EuroCup games while playing for ratiopharm ulm. The sharpshooting guard provided the spark that BAXI Manresa needed to overcome Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem without its fans and win back-to-back EuroCup games.

Plummer drained 4 three-pointers in scoring a career-high 23 points in Manresa’s 101-94 victory over Jerusalem for a 2-1 mark in Group A.

The EuroCup debutant from Spain trailed by 13 points in the second half but rallied back into the game despite it being played behind closed doors.

“The coach said at halftime that we needed to bring the energy in the second half since we didn’t have the fans. So we needed to try to find our own energy and keep going. We just kept fighting no matter the score and we won the game,” said Plummer, who scored 17 of his points in the final 18 minutes.

Trailing 48-61 midway through the third quarter, Plummer buried two three-pointers to start a 24-10 run to claim the lead early in the final frame. He also had 3 free throws and another triple in the spurt.

The guard added 3 more foul shots with 4 minutes to play and added a final score with 73 seconds remaining for a 95-91 advantage, which proved to be the winning basket.

“Alfonso played very well and was very successful. But above all, I want to highlight his great decision-making. He played with great determination, which is what's asked of him,” Ocampo said at the post-game press conference.

Plummer is no stranger to hitting triples in the EuroCup. Last season, he knocked down at least 3 three-pointers in 10 of his 17 games. Against Jerusalem, the 28-year-old Puerto Rican also helped the team from the free throw line, making 9 of 11 foul shots.

The entire Manresa team was excellent in both of those areas. Diego Ocampo’s side connected on 10 of 21 three-pointers (47.6%) and made 33 of 40 free throws (82.5%). Manresa also finished the game with 24 assists.

“We defended much better one-on-one (in the second half). We controlled the rebounds much better and then we could run.  And we moved the ball,” Ocampo said.  “And for sure the three-point shots were very important for us to be more positive.”

Manresa struggled to contain Jerusalem’s trio of Justin Smith, Jared Harper and Khadeen Carrington, who each scored at least 21 points to combine for 65 points. But only five other players scored for the visitors, and just one of them had more than 6 points.

Ocampo praised his team for successfully dealing with the uncommon situation of not having fans in the Pavello Nou Congost. 

“For me, the team's work is a great credit: the work of all the players, because today was a very difficult opponent and a strange situation,” he said.

“The players had a good mentality. They understood the situation. I'm very grateful for how they behaved and how they prepared themselves for a very strange game. We always play here with the stadium at full capacity, and today there was no one there. It shows a great mentality.”

And the spark from Alfonso Plummer was a major reason for that.

The wait is over for the London Lions as the British club finally grabbed their first victory of the EuroCup season with an 87-71 victory over Dolomiti Energia Trento at home. London took complete control of the game with runs of 16-2 and 23-5 in the first half. The lead swelled to 39 points with 17 minutes to go before Trento charged back to trim the gap to nine points with just more than two minutes to go. London managed to catch itself just in time for the win and a 1-2 record in Group B, with a 3-0 all-time record against the Italian club. 

Kameron McGusty led the Lions with 20 points, Tarik Phillip had 15 points and 7 assists, and Johnathan Williams added 14 points. DeVante Jones tallied 22 points and Andrej Jakimovski and Cheickh Niang both had 15 points in the loss. Trento dropped to 1-2.

With the score 86-90, Christian Sengfelder blocked a Jamel Morris shot and Mark Smith buried a clutch three-pointer at the other end with 1:02 remaining.

Christopher Ledlum paced the winners with 26 points and 5 assists, Tobias Jensen tallied 13 points and 6 rebounds and Bryce Brown added 12 points for Ulm, which remained undefeated through three games. Kristian Kullamae, Jamel Morris and Augustine Rubit each scored 18 and Paulius Danusevicius posted a double-double for Lietkabelis, which dropped to 1-2 after suffering its first home loss of the season.

Slask Wroclaw rallied from 16 points down to grab its second victory of the season by beating U-BT Cluj-Napoca 94-93 in an absolute thriller at home. The game in Poland featured 13 lead changes – nine of them coming in the final quarter – as Slask improved 2-1 in Group A. Slask used an 8-0 spurt in the final frame to build an eight-point lead and barely held on. Stefan Djordjevic collected 19 points and 8 rebounds, Noah Kirkwood scored 15 points and Kadre Gray and Jakub Niziol both added 14 points. 

Cluj fell to 1-2 despite another electrifying performance by Fatts Russell, who tallied 21 points, 8 rebounds and 15 assists, coming up one shy of tying the EuroCup record. Trey Woodbury added 20 points and Mitch Creek chipped in 18 points in the loss.

Umana Reyer Venice earned its first EuroCup victory by defeating Neptunas Klaipeda 89-69. The Italian team dictated play throughout, keeping the Lithuanians at distance for the majority of the contest. Despite shooting just 17% from deep, Reyer scored as a collective unit, with five different players reaching double figures. 

Chris Horton stood out, recording a double-double and finishing with a PIR of 22. The win moves Reyer to 1-2, while frustrated Neptunas fall to 0-3.

Manresa fought back from 13 points down to win its second-ever game in the EuroCup by knocking off Jerusalem 101-94 at home. EuroCup debutant Manresa used a 24-10 run spanning the final two quarters to get back into the game, which was played behind closed doors. The final frame was a nail-biter but the home side pulled away with an 8-3 surge in the closing moments to improve to 2-1 with back-to-back wins. 

Alfonso Plummer set a new career high with 21 points while Alex Reyes scored 16 points and Hugo Benitez chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. Jerusalem has lost back-to-back games for a 1-2 mark despite Justin Smith tallying a career high 23 points and both Jared Harper and Khadeen Carrington scoring 21 points.

Turk Telekom claimed a much-needed first home win of the EuroCup season, defeating Buducnost 79-72 at Ankara Sports Hall in a well-rounded team performance. In a team effort where multiple players contributed, Kyle Allman stood out with 16 points and 4 assists for a PIR of 19, setting the tone on both ends of the floor.

Marko Simonovic added 15 points along with 5 rebounds, while Kris Bankston provided 10 points and 5 rebounds and Kyle Alexander finished with 10 points and 7 rebounds. For Buducnost, Skyler Mays had 21 points and both Yogi Ferrell, Nikola Tanaskovic and Fletcher Magee each contributed 10.

Cedevita Olimpija remained perfect on the young EuroCup season by fighting past Aris 80-59 at home. Cedevita used a 15-6 surge in the third quarter to grab a 16-point lead and then made 3 straight triples in the final frame to secure a 3-0 mark in Group A. Umoja Gibson paced the home side with 19 points while Joseph Girard had 16 points and Aleksej Nikolic added 15 points.

Aris committed 21 turnovers in dropping to 2-1 with Elijah Mitrou-Long scoring a team-high 19 points. The Greek side’s top scorer, Bryce Jones, was held to just 6 points - 15 below his average going into the game.

Bahcesehir recovered from early struggles in the first half to score 60 points in the second, eventually defeating Hamburg comfortably, 85-106. The win took Marko Barac’s team to 3-0 for their EuroCup campaign, while the Towers fell to 0-3.

Despite shooting 7% from three-point land in the first half, the Istanbul-based team transformed for the second, in which they took advantage of their opponents foul troubles, which ultimately played a decisive part in the result. Bahcesehir recorded 27-points off turnovers and 17 fast-break points. Caleb Homesley and Malachi Flynn recorded 21 points, while Tyler Cavanaugh put in a well-rounded performance of 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to inspire his team to victory.
