Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse has signed athletic swingman Both Gach for the 2025-26 season, the club announced last Monday.
Gach (2.00 meters, 26 years old) spent the previous season with Darussafaka Istanbul, for which he averaged 11.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 28 Turkish League appearances. He is set to play in the BKT EuroCup for the first time.
After playing college basketball at the Universities of Utah and Minnesota, Gach began his professional career in Kosovo with Sigal Prishtina in 2022-23. The following season he led BC Nokia to the Finnish championship and was the MVP of the finals after averaging 20.7 points and 8.1 rebounds in the seven game series against Helsinki, including 29 points and 13 rebounds in the decisive Game 7.
Gach was raised in the United States in a family that hails from South Sudan and has represented South Sudan internationally, including most recently at the AfroBasket qualifiers.
