EA7 Emporio Armani Milan guard Diego Flaccadori underwent a minimally invasive interventional cardiology procedure, the club announced on Tuesday.
Having avoided major surgery, the 29-year-old now has to rest up for a few days before starting to return to basketball activity.
“Diego Flaccadori has undergone a marginally invasive cardiology procedure, that was scheduled, following which he will be required to rest for a few days before gradually returning to activity, Olimpia Milan announced today,” the club confirmed in a statement on its website.
Flaccadori has made just one appearance in the EuroLeague so far this season, which came during Milan’s Round 13 win at Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv just before this set of international fixtures.
