Zalgiris Kaunas will be without a reliable guard for the first part of the 2025-26 season after Dovydas Giedraitis underwent wrist surgery on Tuesday. The 24-year old guard is expected to be sidelined for five months, which would mean he is scheduled to return to action no earlier than December.
Giedraitis has spent the last three seasons with Zalgiris, and last season played 24 minutes per game, posting 5.8 points on 39.1% three-point shooting. He also had 1.9 assists and 1.8 rebounds.
