Anadolu Efes Istanbul has confirmed that Ercan Osmani and Georgios Papagiannis will both spend time on the sidelines after sustaining injuries in the team's Round 5 defeat to Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens on Friday night.
In the case of Osmani, he injured his left shoulder and is expected to be out for approximately three weeks.
Papagiannis's injury is more severe, however, as he injured his ACL. He will undergo surgery 'in the near future' and is projected to miss the next eight months.
They join injured center Vincent Poirier on the treatment table, with the Frenchman having had knee surgery in late August. At the time, Efes declared that Poirier would be out for four to six months.
