The Finnish forward comes off a strong debut season in the EuroLeague
Fenerbahce adds Mikael Jantunen from Paris

Reigning EuroLeague champion Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul continued to prepare for its title defense by signing power forward Mikael Jantunen on a two-year contract.
Jantunen (2.04 meters, 25 years old) spent the past two seasons with Paris Basketball, which he helped to the 2024 EuroCup championship and a spot in the EuroLeague Playoffs last season. He averaged 7.5 points and 4.8 rebounds while starting all 38 of Paris's games, including against Fenerbahce in the playoffs.
A product of the Helsinki Basketball Academy in his native Finland, Jantunen played college basketball at the University of Utah. After two seasons with the Utes, he returned to Europe with Oostende, which he helped to the Belgian League championship in 2022 and was chosen as the league´s top sixth man. Then came a season with Nutribullet Treviso in the Italian League before he joined Paris in the summer of 2023.
Jantunen has been a regular with the Finnish national team since 2019 and played at the European Championships and Basketball World Cup.
