The big man will head to Lithuania for his third EuroLeague season
Zalgiris adds size, athleticism with Moses Wright

Zalgiris Kaunas has a new big man in the paint after signing a one-year deal with center Moses Wright, the club announced on Monday. Wright (2.07 meters, 26 years old) spent last season and a half with Olympiacos, having joined the club as a mid-season addition in 2023-24 campaign.
Last season, Wright appeared to have his season ended in November due to a medical condition, but he made a full recovery and was able to help Olympiacos in the last four rounds of the regular season, as well as in the playoffs and the Final Four.
Wright finished his campaign with 5.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 13 minutes on the floor in the EuroLeague, and also had 11.7 points and 5.4 rebounds in seven Greek League appearances before his health issue appeared.
Before joining Olympiacos in January 2024, Wright only played one month of basketball on the European continent, with five appearances for Turkish club Merkezefendi.
He began his professional career in 2021, having starred during his four years at Georgia Tech. He spent the 2021-22 campaign bouncing between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA, where he combined for four appearances. That season, he spent most of his time with their respective G League affiliates, the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario and the Texas Legends.
Wright spent the 2022-23 season with Zhejiang in China, and also started the 2023-24 campaign with Shanxi in the Chinese League.
