Anadolu Efes Istanbul continues working on keeping together the core of its two-time championship winning roster by extending contract with guard Erten Gazi, the club announced on Wednesday, the player's 25th birthday. Gazi (1.90 meters) signed a one-year extension with an option for another season. Since joining Efes in the summer of 2020, Gazi has played in 23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games, including 14 last season in which he averaged just below 5 minutes per game, totaling 7 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. In the Turkish League, however, Gazi averaged 5.1 points on 39.0% three-point shooting and 1.8 rebounds.
