Hunter spent the previous two seasons with Maccabi and was a big part of the team’s success in 2019-20. He played alongside much of the roster, including center Ante Zizic and power forward Angelo Caloiaro. This season the veteran has averaged 7.7 points and 5.4 rebounds for Bayern, but after going for a season-high 17 points plus 8 rebounds in Round 22 against Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, he has cooled down and was held scoreless in his last two outings.

Reynolds was a teammate of Hunter’s in the latter’s first season in Tel Aviv before joining Bayern last season where he had a breakout campaign. He returned to Maccabi over the summer and has averaged 8.8 points and 4.8 rebounds. Both players bring plenty of energy and are superb rebounders. This matchup of players who know each other and the opposition so well could be critical to the game’s outcome.
