There will be a major battle on the perimeter on Friday night between these two sharpshooters: Real Madrid's Fabien Causeur and Zenit St Petersburg's Billy Baron.
Major matchup: Causeur, Real vs. Baron, Zenit

First-place Real is on an eight-game winning streak during which just about everyone seems to have been contributing and now the team has another weapon back. Shooting guard Fabien Causeur returned to action on Wednesday after being sidelined in four of the previous five games. Causeur is averaging 8.6 points per game and knocking down 41.5% of his shots from long range, which is best on the team. He has scored more than 10 points in seven of his 18 appearances, including in a Round 6 win over Zenit when he netted 13 points in 28 minutes, making 3 of 7 triples in that game.

Baron scored 14 points on 4-for-10 three-point shooting in that same game. He is Zenit's second-best scorer (11.1 ppg.) playing 20 minutes on average. Baron has had an up-and-down campaign, but has been red-hot recently. Zenit has won six of its last seven games and Baron has scored at least 12 points and has made at least 3 three-pointers in each of those wins. For Zenit to win in Madrid, it will be imperative for Baron to stay hot from long distance.
