Maccabi rallied from 58-66 down entering the last minute of the third period when Martin scored his first field goal, and from then on, he became unstoppable. Martin opened the last quarter with a three to bring Maccabi within 63-66, and later added another to give his team a 73-71 lead with 6 minutes to go.
Martin’s last bucket came a few moments later to close a 20-5 run that established an 80-74 edge for Maccabi that Olympiacos would never recover from. At the end of the game, Martin finished with career-highs in points (13), rebounds (5) and PIR (13), as well as with a team-high +16 in the +/- category.
