EA7 Olimpia Armani Milan suffered a big injury blow, learning that it lost its starting point guard Kevin Pangos to a knee injury, the club announced on Saturday. Pangos suffered a partial tear of the posterior cruciate ligament of his right knee during team's Round 10 loss against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul. The club wrote in a statement that Pangos has already started the rehabilitation process. "The re-evaluation is expected in six weeks, after which, if everything goes according to plan, he will be able to start the recovery phase in basketball."
Pangos is a two-time All-EuroLeague guard, including a first team selection in 2021, who joined Milan this summer. The 29-year old has been playing 27 minutes per game, averaging 9.7 points, 3.4 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 10 EuroLeague appearances this season. Milan currently shares a league-worst 3-7 record.
