Monaco inks power forward Vitto Brown
AS Monaco strengthened its frontcourt by signing power forward Vitto Brown to a two-year deal, the club announced Thursday.
Brown (2.03 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir, where he averaged 13.4 points on 44.3% three-point shooting and 4.6 rebounds in 36 Turkish League games last season. He helped the team reach the semifinals.
Brown started his professional career with the Wisconsin Herd of the G League, and later played for the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario, Maine Red Claws and Erie BayHawks.
His first season in Europe was with Le Mans Sarthe Basket in France and then played for Real Betis Baloncesto in Spain before joining Karsiyaka in 2022.
Before that, Brown helped the University of Wisconsin Badgers reach the 2015 NCAA Tournament championship game.
