After tasting defeat earlier this week, two teams aiming to get closer to the playoff positions go head-to-head as EA7 Emporio Armani Milan (7-11) welcomes FC Bayern Munich (8-10).
Pablo Laso, Bayern: 'This task will be very tough'

December's meeting was dominated by Carsen Edwards as he netted 32 points, including 5 three-pointers, to give Bayern a thrilling 91-84 overtime victory. The German team also benefitted from Serge Ibaka's double-double of 20 points and 12 boards, including a late triple to force overtime. Milan will hope for another strong performance from new signing Shabazz Napier, who delivered 14 points and 5 assists on his second debut for the club in Tuesday's defeat at Olympiacos.
Ettore Messina, Milan head coach
"Bayern is a physical, athletic team, with excellent shooters and very strong rebounders. We remain in an emergency so, as already happened against Baskonia, we are also counting on the crowd support. The guys are giving everything to overcome the difficulties of the moment, the tiredness. They are playing with great heart, and they once again deserve the support from our people that has never been lacking this year. We need another proud and careful performance, while we patiently wait for the injured to recover and finally come back."
Pablo Laso, Bayern head coach
"We played a good game in Bologna, but unfortunately, small details made the difference. We aim to perform even better in Milan, but we also acknowledge that this task will be very tough against a team with a lot of quality."
Andreas Obst, Bayern player
"We need to quickly put aside the painful defeat and stress, focusing solely on the Milan game. It's always exciting to play against the guys from last summer. However, in the end, this is the EuroLeague, and it's about winning this game despite the tough schedule, just like they do."
