Paris Basketball started making moves to prepare for its Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut by signing forward Leopold Cavaliere to a two-year deal, the club announced on Monday. Cavaliere (2.03 meters, 28 years old) arrives from a fellow French club Strasbourg, where he spent the last four years.
Last season, Cavaliere posted 10.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists in the French League action, and also averaged 12.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals in eight Basketball Champions League games.
Prior to his time at Strasbourg, Cavaliere made his professional debut as a teenager with Pau-Orthez in the 2013-14 season, and has spent seven seasons there. He is now set to make his EuroLeague debut in a Paris uniform.
