November's meeting between the teams was a low-scoring affair, taken 66-72 by the Roca team thanks to 21 points from usual suspect Mike James, who will again look to shine against his former club after scoring at least 16 points in seven straight games. James is receiving plenty of help right now from Elie Okobo, who has averaged 17.5 points and 5 assists in the last two games. Milan has failed to win away from home since December, mostly due to a misfiring offense that hasn't surpassed 77 points during a six-game road losing run, but can count upon fit-again Nikola Mirotic to deliver the goods after averaging 21 points in the last three games.

- Monaco's Kemba Walker and Milan's Shabazz Napier were college teammates at the University of Connecticut and won the 2011 NCAA title together.
- Milan forward Giampaolo Ricci set career-highs with 8 rebounds, including 6 offensive rebounds, and a PIR of 15, against Monaco in December 2022.
- Last season at Mediolanum Forum, Milan came back from a 17-point deficit in the second half to beat Monaco 79-71. Billy Baron led the winners with 23 points and 6 three-pointers, which tied his career-high from behind the arc.
