Grew up with KK Niksic (Yugoslavia) youth teams.

Played high-school basketball at East Side HS, Newark, NJ.

Played college basketball at Ohio State University (1998-02).

Moved to Yugoslavia for the 2002-03 season, signed by BC Partizan Belgrade.
