#### **Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade defensive ace Adam Hanga takes a trip down memory lane to re-live some of the best moments of a EuroLeague career that has been going on for a decade.**

Hanga has played in four different teams since 2013: Baskonia, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Zvezda. He made his debut in Vitoria-Gasteiz, where he played three seasons. He then moved to Barcelona, where he would play four seasons and appear in the 2021 EuroLeague championship game. After that, he joined archrival Real Madrid, with whom he played and lost the 2022 championship game and then won the 2022-23 EuroLeague crown. Now, he is starting a new stage of his career, playing outside of Spain for the first time.

"For me, \[winning the EuroLeague\] was something undreamable." Hanga said. "I had been dreaming of this moment for such a long time."

Hanga has played a total 256 games in the EuroLeague during 10 seasons and he was chosen by head coaches as the league's Best Defender in the 2016-17 season.

Fenerbahce big man Georgios Papagiannis talks about his goals and motivations after switching from Panathinaikos over the summer.

After five years in his native Greece with Panathinaikos Athens, 26-year-old center [Georgios Papagiannis](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/georgios-papagiannis/005844/) has decided to get out of his comfort zone and challenge himself on foreign soil by joining Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.

"Of course, it was difficult to leave," Papagiannis says. "Panathinaikos will always have, and has, a special place in my heart. I feel like everybody knows that... I kind of put that challenge to myself to see what it feels like to be, let's say, outside of your comfort zone."

After having led the EuroLeague two seasons ago in both rebounds and blocks, the athletic, 2.20-meter center has expanded his game to include three-point shooting, which he showed with 3-for-3 accuracy from downtown in Fenerbahce's 85-82 overtime home win against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan to open the new season.

For all he has accomplished since his EuroLeague debut with Panathinaikos as an 18-year-old back in 2015, Papagiannis has not been to the playoffs this decade. And to get where he really wants to be, the playoffs is a necessary step.

"Our ultimate goal is to get to the Final Four. I know the team, management and fans, of course, they would love to go there, especially me," he says. "I've been in EuroLeague for... it's gonna be my eighth year. Of course, I want to go play in the Final Four. I won't say it's going to be easy. The EuroLeague is getting tougher and tougher every year. But the chemistry and the ambitions are there. You have to be mentally prepared for the next game and have this winning mentality."
