- Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade has been sanctioned with fines amounting €25,000 for the throwing of objects onto the playing court and the offensive chants by its fans during the game Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade – Real Madrid, under Article 29.2.f) and 29.2.g) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.

 

**Play-In Showdown Game B**

- Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade has been sanctioned with fines amounting €14,000 for offensive chants by its fans and the throwing of objects onto the playing court during the game FC Bayern Munich - Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, under Article 29.2.f) and 29.2.g) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.

 

- Mr Nemanja Vasiljevic, General Manager of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, has been sanctioned with a fine of €8,000 for committing acts representing a lack of respect against the officiating crew on occasion of the game FC Bayern Munich - Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.

The Euroleague Commercial Assets (ECA) Board of Directors met on Monday, April 7, 2025, in Barcelona to discuss key topics shaping the future of its competitions.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the successful journey it has built over the past 25 years. This progress has been grounded in unity and determination—values that remain as strong today as they were at the start. Over the years, Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and BKT EuroCup clubs have invested significant resources and relentless effort into delivering the best basketball experience for fans, elevating European club basketball to record levels of interest and commercial success.

The Board discussed the announced proposals for the creation of a new European league, viewing such a move as a threat to the long-standing traditions of European basketball. Such developments would risk fragmentation and confusion within the sport.

At the same time, the Board emphasized its openness to dialogue with any party genuinely interested in contributing to the continued growth of European basketball. However, it remains resolute in opposing any initiatives that undermine the core values, heritage, and fan base of European sports and risk leaving loyal fans behind.

Additionally, attendees of the Board meeting received updates and engaged in strategic discussions regarding the future structure of competitions and emerging commercial opportunities.

- Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul has been sanctioned with a fine of €7,000, for insufficient preventive measures during the game Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul – Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, under Article 29.2.i) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code
- Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens has been sanctioned with a fine of €5,000, for the throwing of objects onto the playing court during the game Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens – Paris Basketball, under Article 29.2.g) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code
- Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade has been sanctioned with fines amounting to €16,000, and its next game to be played at a limited 80% of its capacity, including the closing of specific sectors, for multiple incidents generated by its fans during the game Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet – Real Madrid, under Articles 29.2.f), and 29.2.g) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code

The partnership will focus on platform integration and enriched statistical data — a key area in the sports industry — to deliver a seamless, more engaging fan journey.

Ergin Ataman, head coach of Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens, has been sanctioned with a fine of €10,000 for actions that caused the abnormal interruption of a game on occasion of its home game against Alba Berlin under 27.2.a) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code. The decision may be appealed before the Appeals Judge.

- Mr Ergin Ataman, Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens head coach, has been sanctioned with a fine of €10,000 for comments regarding the officiating performance, in accordance with Article 24.2.c) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
- Mr. Dimitris Giannakopoulos, the majority shareholder of Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens, has been sanctioned with a fine of €15,000 for statements on social media regarding the officiating performance in accordance with Article 24.2.c) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
- Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens has been sanctioned with a fine of €7,500 for comments regarding the officiating performance published on the club official website, in accordance with Article 24.2.c) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
- Mr. Kendrick Nunn, Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens player, has been sanctioned with a fine of €4,500 for a lack of respect towards the opposite team during the game between Olympiacos Piraeus and Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens, under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
