FC Bayern Munich head coach Andrea Trinchieri:
"It was a battle, back to back, a lot of mistakes, but we were able to put 97 points on the scoreboard. I believe we played well, we had some ups and downs, sometimes our offense was too stagnant but we’re going to work on it. It’s a great win for my players, I’m very happy. We are asking our players to bang the boards, they’re doing it and getting results. Let’s try to regenerate because in 46 hours we play again.
“It’s very rare to see back to back games with this kind of offense, and this is our back-to-back-to-back-to-back. A good game, good ideas on the court, the players with good rhythm. When you play so many games mistakes are a huge part of the playing time, but we shot the ball very well after the first half when we were terrible. That was the key. Dubljevic was a problem because he’s very experienced and used this against Freddie, but Freddie found a way to be very effective with 8 rebounds and was very active around the rim. It’s an important win and we’re very happy.”
Valencia Basket head coach Alex Mumbru:
“We started the game well but we played 40 minutes of poor defense. In the second half they made 9 of 14 three-pointers partly through their good shots also but our bad defense. We committed a lot of errors. We tried to stay in the game but in the end, we couldn’t compete.”

"I’m usually hard on myself but today I’m going to be a little nicer to myself and say it was solid. I’m more happy about the win that we had and this team stepping forward and moving in the right direction. I think we showed how deep we are as a team. Every single person can go off – it can be me in the first half, somebody else like Corey in the second. It shows how deep as a team we are. I think it’s super important coming off a really tough stretch, a win like that shows that little things can go our way. Now we’ll try to get that momentum and take it into the next game."
