About the program:
U-BT Cluj-Napoca has launched its second One Team program alongside Special Olympics Romania, which provides year-round sports training for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The One Team program created by Cluj offers the participants opportunities to develop their physical abilities and the social skills that will aid them their everyday lives.
Starting in October 2023 and ending in February 2024, a total of 20 participants aged between 18 and 40 will participate in the program. The sessions are held at BTarena in Cluj-Napoca and are led by two One Team coaches from the club’s academy, while some junior players from the academy are also involved as volunteers.
The program is funded by Banca Transilvania and it has the support of Cluj guard Patrick Richard as One Team Ambassador.
