**About the program:** 

AS Monaco is continuing to work in partnership with Special Olympics Monaco with the aim of raising awareness about athletes with intellectual disabilities and encouraging their integration into society. There are more than 10 participants aged between 25 and 40 that are taking part in Monaco's One Team program, which looks to develop essential life skills such as communication, team building, confidence, motivation and respect. Monaco plans to deliver eight two-hour sessions, beginning in November 2024.  

Monaco will run the One Team program not only for its own welfare but for the good will of the Monaco society, including as many organizations as possible for the purpose of their initiative. Each session is focused on a specific life skill, establishing a key objective for participants to be aware and engage with. This will be achieved through a combination of basketball practices and other physical and theoretical activities, fostering both personal growth and athletic development.
