**About the program:** 

Paris Basketball, in collaboration with Futbol Mas, proudly presents the One Team program, a community initiative designed to foster inclusion, empowerment, and connection for young refugees and asylum seekers in Paris. Through monthly sessions blending basketball drills, teamwork exercises, and social engagement, the program provides a safe, supportive space for young people aged between 16 and 25 to build their confidence, develop communication skills, and strengthen connections within their community. 

Paris’s One Team program is crafted to create meaningful connections through sport and promote integration. Each session includes dynamic activities such as teamwork games, basketball drills, and Q&A discussions led by Paris’s club ambassadors, Yakuba Ouattara and Amara Sy. Held in the heart of Paris, these activities offer opportunities for participants to improve social skills, embrace teamwork, and gain support from peers and mentors alike. 

Paris’s One Team program will address the social challenges of community cohesion by bringing young refugees and locals together in a welcoming environment. By fostering understanding and promoting teamwork, the program helps participants strengthen their sense of belonging and encourages mutual respect across diverse backgrounds. This initiative also aligns with Euroleague Basketball’s commitment to social responsibility and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 10 on Reduced Inequalities. 

Participants who engage consistently throughout the program will enjoy special experiences, including access to Paris games and the opportunity to take part in game-day activations. At the program’s conclusion, participants will celebrate their achievements with a closing ceremony, diplomas, and commemorative activities. 

Through the club’s One Team program, Paris and Futbol Mas aim to break down barriers and build a united community through the transformative power of sport.
