About the program:

This season, Valencia Basket continues to strengthen its commitment to social inclusion by developing its One Team program in collaboration with the San Juan Bautista Foundation.

Now in their third year working together, the club and the foundation have built a strong partnership that uses basketball as a tool for education and community integration. The San Juan Bautista Foundation supports children and teenagers from vulnerable backgrounds, promoting social inclusion, education, and equal opportunities, and helping them develop positive habits and family values.

A group of 19 boys and girls aged between 10 and 17 will take part in this season’s program, which will run for 14 weeks. The sessions will focus on developing key life skills such as teamwork, communication, respect, empathy, and effort, all through basketball-based activities.

Three One Team coaches and several volunteers from the foundation will guide the sessions, while Valencia Basket players Sergio De Larrea and Kameron Taylor, as One Team Ambassadors, supporting the participants and inspiring them to grow both on and off the court.

The program will also offer participants special incentives such as game attendance, official gear, and an end-of-season celebration, reinforcing their sense of belonging and achievement.
