FC Barcelona and Juani Marcos have come to terms on an agreement that will see him return to the club for two seasons. The deal is pending the completion of a medical review.
Marcos (1.90 meters, 24 years old) spent five years in the Barcelona system after joining the club in 2019 as a teenager from Penarol de Mar del Plata in his native Argentina. He played for Barcelona's B team and spent time on loan at Lleida and Girona. Last season Marcos moved to Girona as a free player and he averaged 8.3 points and 4.3 assists in 28 games in the Spanish League. He has also played internationally for Argentina at both the junior and senior levels. Marcos is expected to make his EuroLeague debut this season with the club.
